The installation consists of several coterminous black-and-white video channels. Particular projections show exercises that preceds aerial acrobatics. We watch pilots learning the order of acrobatic figures, and performing each excercise with an incredible concentration. ‘Flying by foot’, that is memorising and practicing the exact sequences of movements and gestures, make the pilots travel back to the future. The following footage is a visual testimony of what is yet to happen.
